Near my house once stood the facilities of Consolidated Concrete Co (all this was torn down in the spring of 2003). A few outbuildings still occupy the largest tract of vacant land along the river in city limits. Soon the whole area, including its two sizable ponds, will be the newest city park. Right now, it's still a nice place to get away from everyone.
